Creating Your First Agent
- Navigate to Agents in the admin portal
- Click Create Agent
- Fill in the basic information:
- Name: A descriptive name for the agent
- Description: What the agent does
- Icon: Visual identifier
Configuring the System Prompt
The system prompt defines your agent’s personality and behavior:
You are a helpful customer support assistant for Acme Corp.
Your responsibilities:
- Answer questions about our products
- Help with order status inquiries
- Escalate complex issues to human agents
Always be polite and professional. If you don't know something, say so. Setting Permissions
Control who can use your agent:
- Public: Anyone in your organization
- Teams: Specific Microsoft Teams channels
- Groups: Azure AD security groups
Testing Your Agent
Before deploying, test your agent:
- Use the built-in test chat
- Verify responses match expectations
- Test edge cases and error handling
